Application for Admission

The following applicant types are able to apply to SSU through this application:

• Freshmen: You've never attended college or all your college credits were earned prior to high school graduation (College Credit Plus or dual-enrollment)

• Transfer: You've attempted 12+ credit hours at a 2 or 4-year college or university after high school graduation or equivalent
• Guest/Non-Degree: A student interested in a certificate/non-degree program at Shawnee State University OR a student visiting from another institution to transfer courses back to their home institution
• International: You are not a citizen of the United States of America, and you are not a permanent resident of the United States of America at the time you apply for admission

• Graduate Students: You would like to earn Graduate Workshop Credit or obtain a Master's Degree.

The following applicant types should not utilize this application:

• Students returning to an undergraduate program : Students who have previously attended Shawnee State University as an undergraduate "degree seeking" student should apply for "re-enrollment" here.If you have previously attended as an undergraduate student and wish to pursue a graduate program at SSU, please fill out the Graduate Student application.
